Tennis Courts
Las Casitas has one tennis court available for rent. The court is located just behind the Las Casitas property in a garden setting. The court is easy to find and very well maintained.  PlayaCar Golf Course
Located just 20 miles north of Akumal, the PlayaCar Club de Golf is well known for its challenging course and beautiful landscaping. The 18-Hole, par 72 course highlights the surrounding tropical jungle and sits just a few hundred yards from the turquoise blue water of the Caribbean.
This is a championship course designed by well-recognized architect Robert Von Haggen. It is a 7,202-yard course, with a slope rating of 148 from the championship tees. White tees, 136, and 134 from the red tees. It is as challenging to play as is beautiful to experience.
The Club House at PlayaCar is designed to resemble a traditional Mayan structure and includes a large banquet area with palapa roof. Within the clubhouse is a fully stocked pro-shop, men and women’s locker areas, and the “19th Hole” Restaurant and Bar. PlayaCar Golf Course has made available a large secure storage with area that can accommodate up to 300 golf bags, offering golfers a secure and convenient location to store their bags during their stay.
If you prefer to leave your clubs at home, the PlayaCar Golf Course has over 100 sets of rental clubs available for both men and women. You can choose from Callaway, Cobra, or Taylor Made rental sets, available in both steel and graphite, for both right and left handed golfers.
There is an excellent practice area that includes a long driving range, putting green complete with chipping and pitching areas, and green side sand bunker.
Greens fees include food and beverages available to golfers at the 19th Hole and via two drink and snack carts that travel the course.

- All green fees and carts included if an all inclusive golf package is purchased.
- Every player must have a complete set of clubs. Twilight fee is good for the holes that you can play. No Rain Checks in Twilight.

Rules
1. In the interest of keeping up speed of play, the jungle shall be played as a lateral hazard. Balls lost in the jungle shall be played from within two club lengths of where the ball last entered the jungle with a one-stroke penalty. Please, let faster groups go through.
2. All natural areas on the golf course property are to be played as lateral hazards. Please take care when playing from any natural area
3. Out of bounds is defined by white stakes, or the inside curb of all roadways bordering the course. Any ball coming to rest on the opposite side of ponds on holes 2, 9, 11, and 18 shall be considered out of bounds.
 Puerto Aventuras Marina and Resort
Certainly more casual than PlayaCar but fun and a great way to get out and enjoy the natural beauty of the area, the Puerto Aventuras Golf Course is just 10 minutes north of Akumal. Walk-ons are welcomed. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back. The Puerto Aventuras course has very reasonable greens fees. Putting green rental clubs and golf carts are available. Rate is approximately $45 US for unlimited holes.
