Casa Zamna is ecologically friendly villa using solar energy. The house features hammocks, beach palapa, ceiling fans, towels and linens. Included with your stay is daily maid service 6 days a week and cooking upon request.
Casa Zamna upstairs has a kitchen and living area in one large room the opens to a beautiful verandah with a great vista of the sea. This is definitely the most pleasant spot to camp out for a morning, afternoon, or days at a time. On the verandah are several wooden beach chairs, tables and a sumptuous hammock.
The bedroom on this level also opens onto the upper verandah. The bedroom has King bed, a dresser, a beautiful bank of built in closets, bedside tables and lamps and a blanket trunk. The room is surrounded with mahogany parsiana (louvered) windows that give you a view into the grand palms and mature sea grapes feeling somewhat like a tree house. The separate bathroom is to the rear of the bedroom. Its a ful bath with curved sink counter, tallavera sink and
built in cabinets.
Going up there is a beautiful handmade floating staircase and a loft style bedroom under the high palapa roof with ceiling fan. It includes two double beds, night table, lamp, chair, also a ceiling fan and light. This bedroom shares the downstairs bath. The house is very well ventilated. It was design to catch refreshing sea air and it does. On the beach is one shade palapa with beach chairs. This is a very private and beautiful site.
Casa Zamna - downstairs are two bedrooms both with their own bath. One has two double beds. It is the smaller of the two and is like a hotel room. The larger bedroom is a little studio apartment with a king size bed and a kitchen including a sink stove with oven and refrigerator.....Also a dining table and chairs and a loveseat. Of course it has its own bath with toilet sink and shower. The rooms are finished beautifully structurally and decorated tastefully. Both rooms open to a verandah style patio that leads to a protected sunbathing area - an outdoor shower - and then to spectacular Tulum beach. During the summer this beach is a hotbed of turtle nesting activity.
